I will miss the sounds of Christmas, mostly the music. As a culture we seem to sing less and less together. This is partly because we have so much electronic media giving us sound. We don’t have to sing to hear lovely music. It is good that music is given to us through electronic media, it is also good to sing along, sing alone and sing together. Singing is good. Not just for recording professionals, but everyone.
One of the wonderful proclamations of faith during the Advent and Christmas is through song. Together we sing of hope, joy, peace and faith during this season of love and birth. I hope you heard some of your favorite hymn, carols and songs to celebrate your faith as we celebrated the birth of the child who was the Savior.
